Papers of Michael Caira consist largely of materials pertaining to the Order Sons of Italy in America. Included are convention minutes, reports, booklets, and worksheets from the OSIA national organization; and speeches of Supreme Venerables Aldo Caira, Bruno Giuffrida and Frank Montemuro, as well as speeches of Caira himself. Papers also include OSIA information pertaining to regional conferences and corresondence, as well as a portrait of Frank Montemuro. In addition, the records include materials from numerous committess including the Commission for Social Justice and the Columbus Quincentenial 1981-1988. The materials contains correspondence from regional conferences 1982-1984, photographs, and a film script for a Non-OSIA film entitled "The Italians and Jews in Occupied Europe" (1983).
